From adventure to story in three steps

ViaPlot is designed to get out of your way. No complicated setup — just create, narrate, and share.

01

Create or import your map

Start from scratch by giving your journey a title, or import an existing Google My Maps with all pins and descriptions. We'll automatically geocode any addresses and handle the heavy lifting.

02

Add Points of Interest

Drop pins anywhere on the interactive map. For each pin, write rich content: formatted text, photos, videos, and audio. Group related stops, assign categories, and add addresses.

03

Publish & share

When you're happy, publish your map to a public URL or keep it private and invite collaborators. Embed it on any website, share a link, or let the world discover your story.

Stories from the field

Loved by storytellers everywhere

From travel bloggers to NGOs and educators — here's what people are building with ViaPlot.

SM

Sophie M.

Travel Blogger

I've tried every map tool out there. ViaPlot is the first one that lets me tell a proper story — not just drop pins. My readers love scrolling through each stop.
CR

Carlos R.

NGO Field Coordinator

We use ViaPlot to document aid distribution across multiple regions. The multi-language support means our local teams can read everything in their own language.
AK

Anna K.

High School Geography Teacher

My students created interactive maps of historical events with photos and sources attached to each pin. Engagement went through the roof compared to static slideshows.
TH

Tom H.

Real Estate Agent

I embed ViaPlot maps on every property listing page. Buyers can see the neighbourhood, nearby schools, and local highlights — all in one beautiful interactive view.
LD

Léa D.

Travel Photographer

The media library is a game-changer. I upload my photos once and reuse them across every map. And the video HLS streaming means my clips load instantly.
MW

Marcus W.

Event Organiser

We used ViaPlot to map out a festival with 40 stages and vendor spots. Attendees could open the embed on their phones and navigate the whole venue without paper maps.
PS

Priya S.

Food & Culture Writer

My 'Best Street Food in Tokyo' map has been shared thousands of times. The embeddable format means any food blog can drop it in with one line of code.
OB

Oliver B.

Urban Planner

ViaPlot replaced two separate tools we were using for community consultation maps. The collaboration roles mean our whole team can edit without stepping on each other.
HJ

Hana J.

Hiking Enthusiast

I document every hike I do. ViaPlot lets me add elevation notes, trail conditions, and photos at each waypoint. It's basically a living trail guide.
DL

David L.

Journalist

For investigative pieces that span multiple cities, ViaPlot helps me build a narrative that readers can explore at their own pace. No developer needed.
FA

Fatima A.

Museum Curator

We created a virtual heritage trail of our city's historic buildings. The multi-language feature means tourists from all over the world can follow along.
BT

Ben T.

Cycling Tour Operator

Our guests get a ViaPlot map link before every tour. They can see the route, read about each stop in advance, and revisit memories afterwards. Absolutely worth it.
